June 15th –The Exuberant Trust Showcase
The EXUBERANT SHOWCASE celebrates the 21st year of the Exuberant Trust, a local arts charity which supports young people who are developing an interest in the performing arts, and fine arts. Some recent award-winners will perform in the lovely setting of the Turrill Sculpture garden. 17th-century costume band presents a vibrant portrait of Oxfordshire in the age of the English Civil War and Restoration. Performing in period dress with music and spoken word the 5-piece features lute, fiddle, cittern, hurdy gurdy, hammered dulcimer, shawm, nyckelharpa – and superb singing voices
